Twitter introduced a new insights tool which explains the best day of the week and the best time to post tweets based on user engagement.

The new feature is ‘Timing is Everything’ tool took some months to build, twitter says and is part of a greater effort to provide users with more actionable data.
Timing is Everything is hardly focused on video tweets especially. It shows historical data showing when audiences are on Twitter watching & engaging with video.
Purpose of Timing is Everything lightens the best times to Tweet video content in order to increase engagement, conversation, and viewership.
The new insights tool doesn’t show when a user’s followers are watching videos. It’s a unit, meaning it shows when all users are generally watching any video.
After defining the most opportune times to post content, tweets can be scheduled directly from the Insights page.
To get started with Timing is Everything you just follow below steps
  • Firstly, do the Analytics dropdown menu within Media Studio and then select Insights.
  • Secondly, click on View the graph to understand when your users are online and when they are engaging with content.
  • Thirdly you can Experiment with tweets/scheduled tweets, during the times of day that have the highest engagement.
