Google implemented a new feature Shoppable Ads on Google Images

Google implemented a new route for retailers to promote products in image search with shoppable ads.
This new ad feature lets retailers can highlight multiple products within a single ad unit, which will show up among Google Images results.
These ad units work like shoppable pins on Pinterest where multiple items within a photo are tagged for sale.
Google’s shoppable ads will visible in image search results with a “Sponsored” tag as well as a price tag icon.
Hovering all over the price tag icon will display the prices of the items, along with the brand name & other information.
Users can click on their interesting product to visit the product page & if they want to buy they can make a purchase.
Shoppable ads on Google Images are presently being tested on a tiny percentage of traffic with select retailers.
Google plans to roll this ad unit out to more categories across more retailers all over the next coming months.
 
Additionally, introducing Shoppable Ads, Google is bringing display Shopping ads to image search.

Display Shopping ads, which visible in regular search results, will now be displayed in image search results as well.
Google also reminds retailers about its recent enlargement of Merchant Center as a platform to power shopping experiences hereafter advertising.
Day-to-day Consumers are growing turning to Google Images for shopping inspiration.
Google sites a recent study that shows half of the percentage people of online shoppers said images of a product inspired them to make a purchase.
These new ad solutions will help retailers visible their products in front of customers across many touchpoints.
